Birchwood Brewing specializes in classic American Ales and Lagers with emphasis on flavor and clarity, brewed in equipment built 100% by the owners. 

While working for a local fabrication shop for several years, owners Wesley Hewey and Andrew Sanborn had built or worked on several brewing systems. Using this experience and love of beer, they decided to design and build one of their own. After renovating a section of their third partner Stacy Strattard’s barn and installing the new system they began to experiment and create their own recipes. They started focusing on simplistic traditional beer styles and the history behind them.

After years of late nights and weekends Birchwood Brewing was formed and it challenged them to take their skills to next level. The three founders envisioned creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere where everyone can unwind and enjoy a few pints with their friends and family.

You can experience the result of their vision at Birchwood's Tap Room located at 19 Portland Road in Gray, Maine. The brewery offers a pub style menu, small batch hand crafted, cold beer, cider, hard seltzer and hard tea. 

Nonesuch is proud to be Scarborough, Maine's first and only brewery, joining the ranks of the celebrated Maine craft beer scene. Nonesuch aims to combine well-crafted, approachable beer and cocktails with the abundant bounty of Maine's local and natural resources to create a seasonally inspired menu in a lively, warm and inviting atmosphere.

Symbolized in the namesake of the restaurant and brewery, the Nonesuch River is a body of water that runs through the seaside town of Scarborough, Maine, connecting the town's eight villages to one another.

Nonesuch is located in the heart of Scarborough. We are just 12 minutes from Portland's Old Port, 15 minutes from the beaches, 10 minutes from the Jetport, and an easy drive from much of the Greater Portland area.

A continued partner of Best Buddies is Channel 8. They've been supporting us from the beginning with promotional services, emcee talent and live coverage. 

Channel 8 is committed to providing Maine's best local news and weather coverage.  WMTW-TV is the ABC affiliate in Portland, Maine. WMTW News 8 is owned by the Hearst Corporation. 

At Wicked Cornhole we have a commitment to serving our community.  We are often asked to participate in events and fundraisers for local charitable organizations.  Over time we have found that the best way for us to make a difference in the community we live in is to help local organizations run Cornhole tournaments.  We have found this to be far more effective than donating boards.  If you are interested in running a cornhole tournament for your organization slide on over to our Events page for more information.
